We're here to learn, build, create, and support each other. This is a place for curiosity, collaboration, and kindness.
To help keep the community great, please follow these principles:

1. Be kind and respectful

We're all learning. Encourage others. No harassment, insults, or hostility.

2. Help others grow

Give constructive feedback — focus on helping, not judging.

3. Keep conversations on topic

Stick to game development, creativity, learning, and personal projects.
No spam or unrelated advertising.

4. Share only what you have the right to share

If you post work or assets, make sure you own them or have permission.

5. Keep the space safe and welcoming

No NSFW content, hate speech, bigotry, targeted harassment, or attempts to intimidate others.

6. Moderators are here to help

Moderators may edit, move, or remove posts, or take action on accounts when needed to keep discussions healthy.
If something's wrong, use the Flag button - don't engage or escalate.

These Terms apply to the GameDev.tv Community Forum at https://community.gamedev.tv/ (the "Forum"), operated by EmbraceIt Limited (company number 05194402), 10 Riverside, Framlingham, Woodbridge, Suffolk, England, IP13 9AG United Kingdom ("GameDev.tv", "we", "us", or "our").
By using the Forum, you agree to these Community Terms, our Website Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Forum.

1. Your Account

  • You are responsible for your login and any activity under it.
  • Do not share your account with others.
  • Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

2. Your Content

You retain ownership of anything you post ("User Content").
By posting, you grant GameDev.tv a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute your content on the Forum and in system backups.
If you delete content, the licence ends, except for technical caching.
You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe others' rights.

6. Liability

Use of the Forum is at your own risk. We are not responsible for:
  • Content posted by other users
  • Outages, data loss, or interruptions
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where unlawful to do so.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
