Tim Ruswick
Hello, I'm Tim.
I built my first game when I was 12, hacking together what I loved about the various trading card games I played obsessively. Since then, I've become a full time indie game developer and YouTube content creator, developing over 30 games in the last 5 years, with my games seen by hundreds of thousands of people.
I also run an online community and YouTube channel where I share my thoughts and projects online to developers around the world. After working in games for a decade, I've joined up with GameDev.TV to help new developers learn the fundamentals of game development.
Chris DeLeon
I'm Chris. I began making games as a hobby in 1997 and turned professional in 2005. My background includes technical game design on console games for EA, prototyping with Will Wright's R&D company, being an early hire at a startup that became PopCap SF, and leading a top-selling iPhone game. I've made over 100 freeware games, one with 7 million players. I also podcast, create content on YouTube, gave a few Game Developer's Conference talks, wrote for Extra Credits, and taught game development classes at Northeastern. Since 2015, I've focused mainly on teaching independently through my HomeTeam GameDev community, and creating online courses with 350,000+ students.
