Hi! I'm Mike, great to meet you!
I'm an educator and content creator, and absolutely love anything related to technology. I have been tinkering with game, web, software development, and far too many programming languages since 2005. I have since developed multiple self-released games, post regularly to a tech-based YouTube channel, and worked on professional projects across Unreal Engine, Unity, GameMaker Studio 2, PlayCanvas, GameSalad, and more.
Recently, I worked as a High School Computer Science and Game Design Teacher, using Unreal Engine and Unity in the classroom. Eventually, I semi-retired from teaching to move on to course and curriculum writing for a large curriculum provider, allowing my courses to reach schools all around the world. This felt like the right move from teaching locally, as it allowed me to impact a much wider audience.
After meeting Marc in the GameDev.tv discord, I was introduced to Ben and the rest was history! I had used GameDev.tv as a student for years, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to be a part of the team and reach a whole new audience!
